Kenya is not only the country of elephants, lions and giraffes, it is also the country where time has another dimension, where tradition is rich and present, where streets are colourful, where many people are very
poor, where there is a terrible lack of information and education, where laughter is easy, where children are everywhere, where corruption is blooming, where roads are bad, where hope and religion are strong, where vegetation is luxurious....
Just Natural wants to share our african way of live. We also would like to learn about other cultures, meet people from different parts of the world and be a part of the worldwide ecological movement.
Feel at home on the farm of Patrick and Florence
Patrick Wasike Nabolokha and Florence Muthoni are members of Just Natural. Their farm is a typical kenyan small scale farm. It consists of only 1acre of land where they breed chicken and rabbits, grow foreign and indiginous vegetables and produce some organic goat and cow cheese. Their house and the guesthouse are situated on their plot, as well as a large variety of different indigenous fruit trees and two green houses.
What is different about their farm, is that Patrick and Florence only apply organic methods. Just Natural organises workshops on their demonstration garden to promote and teach organic farming. They are also part of the network that commercialises organic products.
If you are interested to visit others farms, take part in communal tree planting, visit a school, learn how to make chapatis... in short meet and discuss with local people, Patrick and Florence will be happy to be your guide.
Description of the guesthouse
Our small and independant guesthouse is welcoming and functional. It comprises :

a bedroom equiped with a double bed

a bathroom with shower, dry toilet and sink

a livingroom with an open kitchen and a sofa that can be extended either to 2 separate beds or to a double bed
-
a private and shaded terrasse to enjoy relaxed moments in the open air

Just Natural is not a travel agency, it is a community based organization that is involved in the local situation with local people in Kitale.
